- The opening ceremony is held in the Guang Rung Port in Kaohsiung City. It is also the opening ceremony of the Pauline Year. There are activities such as organized pilgrimages to Catholic shrines using Pilgrimage Passports, 150th Anniversary Music Theme Competition, Composition Writing Contest, Musical Concerts etc.
