His Eminence Paul Cardinal Shan

| Our
venerable Cardinal Shan, whose Christian name was Paul, passed away at Cardinal
Tien Hospital on August 22, 2012, Wednesday, at 6:42 pm. He was 90 years
old, born on December 2, 1923.
The Funeral Mass will be held on September 1st, Saturday, at 10:00 AM at St. Dominic's High School, No. 354, Jianguo 1st Road, Lingya District, Kaohsiung. It will be followed by his burial at the Kaosong Diocese Cemetery. We shall remember Paul Cardinal Shan whose life was exemplary and full of kindness. May we work hand in hand to realize his last wish. He wants his funeral to be simple. Please do not send floral baskets or wreaths or funeral couplets.
